About Us
From Humble Beginnings to Trusted Service Providers
Wave Plumbing was born from a simple dream—to build something meaningful that gives back to the community. Our founder didn’t begin his career in the trades. After starting down a path in nursing, life took an unexpected turn when he became a father. That’s when he stepped into the world of construction—and found his calling in plumbing.
What started with sweeping floors quickly turned into a hands-on apprenticeship, thanks to the encouragement of professionals who saw potential. Over the years, he worked with respected names like Coastal Mechanical and Ferran, gaining valuable experience in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing throughout Florida.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Wave Plumbing isn’t just a business. It’s the first company founded in both sides of our family. We built it from the ground up—with hard work, heart, and a commitment to making every customer feel like part of the family.
Our goal? Provide top-tier plumbing services with honesty, affordability, and integrity at the core. And when we grow, we want our community to grow with us—by offering training and opportunity to the next generation of tradespeople.
MEET OUR FOUNDER

David PEREZ
I was born in Cuba and came to the United States at 14. After high school, I initially pursued nursing, following my family’s footsteps in the medical field. But life led me to a different path when I started a family and needed a more immediate way to provide for them. That’s how I found my way into the construction industry and eventually discovered my passion for plumbing.
I fell in love with the trade quickly, diving into it on and off the job—watching videos, honing my skills, and even winning plumbing competitions. Eventually, I became so good at it that my employer told me I’d reached the top pay level for my position. They said the only next step was to become a supervisor, but I’d have to wait a few years because of my age and seniority.
That moment lit a fire under me. I had ideas and ambitions and didn’t want to be limited by someone else’s timeline. After a decade in plumbing, I decided to start my own business so I could lead, innovate, and create something that reflected my vision from day one.
